The price we pay for being financially illiterate

Lack of effective career success training, tools, strategy & preparation and lack of financial literacy tools & preparation in high schools and colleges is a massive barrier to our upcoming generations effectively pursuing wealth management and social mobility.

I did an informal IG poll on financial literacy comfort level, & out of 74 respondents (students in various colleges & early careers in the East Coast U.S. between 18-29 years old), 70% said they are scared to talk about money and 30% said they don’t have the tools (image below). This is a social justice & equity problem as well as an economic and business success problem.

How many of the students in their twenties and thirties feel similarly? Would love to see your response in comments. #careersucess #financialliteracy #removingbarriers #alkadevikaprojectsolutions
