Video: Building Foundations for Career Success
One of the many (many) things I wish I had known in my teens and twenties that I know now is the importance of focusing on building on current foundations instead of despairing about all that may not go right in the “future.”
I wish I had had a mentor sit me down in my rather miserable teens and twenties and assure me that (a) the future WILL figure itself out (because one way or another, for better or for worse, it does) AND (b) the most important thing I could do at the time was focus 100% on what I was studying, learning, absorbing and be present for that experience.
