Self-critical, shaming, unhelpful thoughts do not help us nurture productive actions that move us toward our goals.
We want to learn to listen to our negative self-talk and learn to gently, firmly, compassionately speak to ourselves with kind, hope-giving positive self talk.
We set the base to be productive.
Then, we DO, from a place of gentleness, compassion, positivity, and discipline.
The plant we are nurturing will grow and thrive much more healthily if we give the soil (our soul) the right amount of nourishing water and nutrients every day, not drops of acid.
